Milestone Stamp Card on the meed Business Portal

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new feature for paid meed customers: Milestone Stamp Cards. This innovative addition allows businesses to reward customers at the end of their loyalty journey and at key milestones along the way. It’s loyalty reimagined, designed to create deeper engagement and value for businesses and consumers.

What’s New?

With Milestone Stamp Cards, businesses using meed's paid tiers can now choose between 10-stamp- and 20-stamp cards. While the final stamp unlocks the main reward, enterprises can offer intermediate rewards at any earlier stamp. These intermediate rewards appear as vouchers in the customer’s wallet, making it easy to redeem them and enjoy their perks.

Customers on the free tier will continue to have access to the basic stamp card feature, maintaining our promise of value for all users, regardless of their subscription level.

Why Milestone Stamp Cards?

Traditional stamp cards often focus solely on completing the card and receiving a reward. While compelling, this model misses opportunities to engage customers throughout their journey. With Milestone Stamp Cards, businesses can foster a stronger connection with their customers by celebrating progress and rewarding loyalty incrementally. This update enhances the customer experience and encourages repeat visits and sustained engagement—a win-win for everyone.

Examples of Milestone Stamp Cards in Action

To illustrate how businesses can leverage this feature, here are two examples:

  1. Coffee Shops Imagine a coffee shop offering a 10-stamp card. The main reward for the 10th stamp is a free speciality coffee. However, along the way, customers can earn smaller rewards like a free cookie at the 5th stamp or a 10% discount voucher at the 8th stamp. These intermediate incentives keep customers excited and returning for more, ensuring they remain engaged throughout their loyalty journey.

  2. Boutique Retail Stores A boutique store could use a 20-stamp card to encourage repeat purchases. For instance, customers might receive a $5 voucher after five stamps. At 10 stamps, they could unlock free shipping for their next online purchase. Finally, at 20 stamps, they could earn a $50 gift card. By breaking up the journey into smaller milestones, the store keeps customers motivated to return without the process feeling overwhelming or unattainable.

By addressing consumer feedback—such as the desire for simplicity and the avoidance of app overload—we’ve created an app-less, easy-to-use, and highly rewarding feature.
