Use a Second Visit Voucher to Get A Customer To Come Back Again

The great thing about meed's voucher delivery capabilities is that there are no limits.


We all know that repeat visits early in the relationship are essential to ensure visiting your store becomes a habit!


meed enables you to do this by creating a series of vouchers so that when a customer joins your loyalty program on meed they know right then and there why they should come back often.


This tutorial shows a tactic that we have found effective with early adopters of meed, The Second Visit Voucher.


If you have not read our posts on how to create a program, how to create a stamp card, and how to create a welcome voucher, I highly recommend you do so first then return here.


Create a Second Visit Voucher


For our stamp card, we used a giveaway voucher, which can be redeemed directly for a product. In this case, it was a free coffee after 8 Expresso drink purchases. For our welcome offer, we used a discount. For our Second Visit Voucher, we are going to create a cash coupon.


This uses the same campaign management screen as the previous campaigns, so log into meed and go to the Voucher Campaign Management Screen.


Click the big plus button by "Create a new campaign".


Important: You must be a pro member to run more than one active campaign at a time. Read here how to upgrade to the pro tier.

The campaign screen is the same but as this is a cash voucher there are just a couple of differences.


  • Select the Cash Voucher option at the top of the first column

  • Select the amount of discount you want to offer from the dropdown at the botton of the first column.


As with all other campaigns, give it a name. We called this one "2nd Visit" as we want customers to know exactly what it is. Terms and conditions and start and stop dates follow the same rules as all other campaigns. We used AI to create a colourful image for the voucher.

With all the data entered, click the Start Campaign button and click "yes" in the confirmation popup.


Confirm you want to deploy the voucher

Your campaign is live, and you are returned to the Campaign Management screen. Now you can see three active campaigns:


  1. Your stamp card (which earns a free coffee)

  2. A welcome voucher which offers 10% off on your first purchase as a member

  3. A 2nd visit voucher for HK$25 off any purchase (not to be used in conjunction with any other offer!)

All your members will be notified that a new voucher is in their wallet. This is what it looks like to your members.

As you can see, you can create incentives for repeat visits to your store with redemptions/giveaways and cash and percentage discounts.
