The meed App is used in-store to scan customer membership QR codes, allowing you to give them stamps or retrieve vouchers that consumers want to redeem.
Get the meed App
Using your phone, go to either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store and search for "meed loyalty". If you are reading this on your phone, you can click these links:
Log Into the meed App
To log in, use the email you use for the Meed Portal. If an account owner invited you to join a team, use the email you were invited with. You will be sent a one-time password by email.
As soon as you are logged in, you will land on the voucher page, where all the current live campaigns for your loyalty program will be displayed.
If you have multiple locations, you can click the "Switch Program" button and ensure that the app is set up for each one. This will ensure that all rewards and redemptions are attributed to your business's correct location or branch.
Scan a customer's membership QR Code
Click the big scanner button at the bottom of the app window.
Place it over the Apple or Google Pass your customer has as a loyalty program member. You can also scan their membership page on the web app; your QR code is at the top.
If you operate a stamp card, the next page that opens will be the stamp card page. If you do not, it will show the available vouchers to redeem. You can switch between the two using the Stamp and Vouchers toggle buttons.
Stamp a meed Stamp Card
If you have a stamp card, scanning a member QR code will automatically take you to this screen. The default number of stamps is one. Hit the plus button to give extra stamps until you reach the correct number. Then press Stamp.
Check the number of stamps is correct, and then press Stamp. Your customer will get their stamps instantly, and if they have installed the Apple or Google pass, they will get a phone notification confirming this.
Redeem a customer's voucher
If you want to redeem a voucher, click the Vouchers toggle button instead of giving a stamp. You will now see all the vouchers available to redeem.
Select the voucher that the customer will redeem and then click Continue.
The selected voucher will now be isolated. Click the blue Redeem button, and the voucher will be spent. The customer will no longer have it in their wallet. You will be able to confirm the number of each voucher spent through the analytics section of the portal to match your POS records.
That's the meed app! It's very quick and easy to use.
